<br> to obtain entry permit at entry point
In accordance with section 7 of the Act, any person or organization shall import plants, plant products, biological control agents, beneficial insects or plant growth media such as soil, peat, peat, etc. into Nepal at the point of entry and carry out the necessary work related to the quarantine of such items and obtain them within Nepal. If you want to enter, the goods brought in such a way should be submitted to the office in the format as per schedule-8 for entry permit in Nepal.
(2) The following documents should be attached with the notification submitted as per sub-rule (1):-
(a) Immigrant Entry Permit taken as per rule 5,
(b) Documents as per sub-rule (2) of rule 5,
(c) Plant health certificate issued from the country of export of the goods under sub-rule (1) to be imported.
(3) If it is deemed necessary to issue an entry permit after examining the notification letter submitted as per sub-rule (1) and the accompanying documents, the office shall take the required sample of the imported item and send it to the laboratory for health testing.
(4) If the imported item is found to be healthy during the laboratory test of the sample obtained as per sub-rule (3), the office will issue a permit in accordance with Schedule-9 to allow such item to enter Nepal. (5) If the sample taken in accordance with sub-rule (3) is tested in the laboratory and found to contain quarantine pests, the imported item shall be destroyed in accordance with Rule 15, and if any other unhealthiness is found, the imported item shall be sent for treatment in accordance with Rule 13 or directly according to Rule 15 at the request of the importer. will be destroyed.
(6) If the imported goods are found to be healthy after being treated in accordance with rule 13, the office will issue a permit to allow such goods to enter Nepal in accordance with sub-rule (4).
(7) If the imported goods are not found to be healthy despite being treated according to rule 13, the office shall destroy such goods according to rule 15 or return such goods to the respective country.He will fall.
(8) Plants, plant products, biological control agents, beneficial insects imported for research purposes should be kept and tested at the post-entry quarantine site and if such items are found to be healthy, the office will allow them to be used in Nepal. But if such item is found to be infected, it will be destroyed according to rule 15.
